Parents applying for the first time may make an appointment for an interview and tour with the Principal. First time parents should provide:
- Birth Certificate
- Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
- Medical immunization records required for school entrance
- Recent test scores and report cards
- IEP or 504 Plans (if applicable)
- Non-refundable registration fee of $150.00
Parents complete an application form and state any medical, physical, emotional and academic needs that may require special attention. Students being considered for admission need to submit copies of the last report card and any individual and/or state test results if available.
An interview with the principal is recommended.
All acceptances are conditional and rooted in the student's ability to adhere to the rules and regulations as outlined in the student handbook and the school's philosophy. If a disagreement develops regarding a student's or parent's ability to support the school's philosophy and policies, the administration reserves the right to require transfer out of SMRS. In addition, though we are able to accommodate many special needs, we may not have the resources to provide an appropriate academic program that meets the needs of every child. Therefore, the principal shall make the final decision in all matters regarding admission and academic placement. Also, priority for admission is given to St. Margaret parishioners and siblings already enrolled in the school.
