What makes us special?

"For we live by faith, not by sight." -2 Corinthians 5:7

Faith

Here at St. Margaret Regional School we not only excel in our academics, athletics and arts but we pray together, every day, in everything we do.  We strive to help each other draw closer to Christ, so that we may reach our ultimate goal of Heaven.  Our close knit family community helps each child to feel safe, and nurtures them as they grow into the respectful, Christian young adults we pray they can be!  It is not only teaching the faith, here, but living the faith through our examples, each and every day.  We are welcoming to all students and families from all faith backgrounds who desire an excellent education and to participate in the life of our school!

Family

Our families tell us that walking through the doors at St. Margaret Regional is like being at home. We are proud to partner with families in educating their children and we intentionally create an environment where every family feels safe, welcomed, and loved. Our teachers know every student by name and they care for each student’s well being and not just their academic success.  Our parents are active in the school community and help plan events so that everyone can find a home at St. Margaret Regional.

Fun

Our teachers make learning fun! From Pre – K through 8th grade students are engaging learning through hands on experiential learning. It is hard to get students to leave at the end of the day as many stay to participate in the Musical, our sports teams, and after school clubs. The Griffin Parent’s Association regularly plans fun events for the whole family.

Preparing for the future

Our school is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Most public elementary and middle schools in Massachusetts are not NEASC-accredited.  Technology is increasingly important in our classrooms, as well as the world around us.  St. Margaret Regional School has many technology-integrated classrooms that students are able to access to prepare them for high school, college, and beyond.  Our students have even sent a weather balloon over 107,333′ in space; and this is their third year doing it!
