Welcome to St. Margaret Regional School!
I am writing to you about my acceptance of the interim principal position at St. Margaret Regional. My decision to do so was not without serious prayerful discernment. I have had a long standing relationship with St. Margaret’s that became very personal when my wife, Suzanne, began teaching there in 2011. She loved the school and not being able to return after being diagnosed with 4thstage cancer was one of her real sorrows. After her passing, it has been very difficult for me to return to the school. So why do this now? It is because I believe it is the right thing to do. I really believe Our Lord has guided my life and this is where He wants me at this time.
My main concern and goal is to help the students, teachers and parents navigate through this transition. That is why I have accepted the position. Secondly, I want to help ensure that the pre-k through grade 4 program for next year will be outstanding and professional. I am happy to report that Mrs. Joanne Gannon, who is an Early Childhood Educational Specialist, will remain at the school at my request to coordinate the curriculum and programming of the new educational structure. Mrs. Gannon has been at St. Margaret’s since the beginning of the school year in differing capacities but she will now concentrate on curriculum and the new program.
I look forward to working with you and I really need your help at this time and for future planning. The best results can only be attained if we work together.
I thank you in advance for your cooperation and once again I look forward to working with you.
