What makes us special?

"For we live by faith, not by sight." -2 Corinthians 5:7

At St. Margaret Primary School, we strive to help each other draw closer to Christ in all that we say and do. We do not just teach our faith; we live it. Whether participating in Holy Mass, taking part in Christian service activities, lending a helping hand to those around us, or making sure every person in our school community feels welcomed and cherished, the St. Margaret Primary School family leads by example to help our students develop into kind, loving, and respectful children of God. We welcome students and families of all faiths and backgrounds to be a part of our school family, and help us continue to spread kindness to the world.

St. Margaret Primary School is a home away from home for not only our students, but for our faculty and staff. We invest in partnering with families to educate their children in a way that works best for the child. Our faculty and staff work hard to make sure each student feels cared for and loved. We are attentive to each student’s emotional and spiritual well-being, as well as their academic success. Our goal is to ensure every family feels welcomed and valued, and that their children are where they are supposed to be.

Our teachers work endlessly to ensure our students receive a quality education, and we don’t just mean reading, writing and arithmetic! Students are exposed to frequent individual and group project learning opportunities, which allow them to hone 21st century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, flexibility, and leadership. Students learn the skills that will allow them to be successful in our global world. We intentionally offer students special subjects to help students become well rounded human beings. Throughout the week children take Physical Education, Art, Music, Spanish, Library, Media and Makerspace-our new STEAM based tinkering/inventing/engineering program. Students love school and frequently stay after school for clubs such as Ocean Exploration, Sign Language and LEGOs, as well as participating in our musical and taking strings lessons. The opportunities for learning in fun and meaningful ways abound at St.Margaret Primary School.
