Grade K and 1

Dance Mat Typing for Kindergarten and 1st grade to practice their typing skills:  https://www.dancemattypingguide.com/dance-mat-typing-level-1/

Grades 2, 3, and 4

In 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade we had practiced typing using Typing Club earlier in the year. Using the link below, kids will sign in using the beginning of their school email the name and number that comes before the @ symbol (so for example, Cort would type in cfish26 for his username) and their school password.
The website has saved their progress from the last time they were on, and they can continue on from there or go back and review if needed.

All of the classes were practicing coding.

  • Grades K, 1, and 2
If you are in grades K, 1, or 2 you were using course B which can be found here: https://studio.code.org/s/courseb-2019
*Most of K and grade 1 were in the Sequencing Heading, somewhere in Lesson 4 Programming with Angry Birds.  Some may have gotten farther, but it can’t hurt to review! They do not have to do the unplugged activities.
*Some of grade 2 were still in Lesson 4 Programming with Angry Birds, but a lot had moved on to Lesson 5 Programming with Harvester.
  • Grades 3 and 4
If you are in grade 3 or 4, you were using course C which can be found here: https://studio.code.org/s/coursec-2019
*Most of them were in Sequencing, Lesson 5 Debugging in the Maze, but some were still in Lesson 4 Programming with Angry Birds.  Again, they do not need to do the Unplugged Activities.
  • LIBRARY

If you have a library card, most of the libraries that use the SAILS or the CLAMS network are signed up for Overdrive, and kids or parents can check out books virtually and read on a kindle, computer, tablet, etc. The website link is: https://www.overdrive.com/
