An education at any Catholic school is an investment. We believe that investing in your students education at St. Margaret Primary School will have eternal returns.

We want to make Catholic education accessible for as many families as possible. We have partnered with FACTS Management to offer flexible payment plans and to give you access to their online and mobile support and to manage your FACTS account and complete tasks like making a payment, viewing your payment schedule and updating your account.

FACTS also provides our Financial Aid Application. Once your student is registered at St. Margaret Primary School you can apply for Financial Aid through FACTS.

  • Tuition Rates

    Our current tuition for the 2019-2020 academic school year:

    Five day program (8:00 am-1:00 pm): $6,300
    Four day program (8:00-1:00 pm): $5,890
    Three day program (8:00 am-1:00 pm): $5,150
    Two day program (8:00 am-1:00 pm): $4,425

    Kindergarten-Grade 4 (8:00 am-2:20 pm): $5,825

    Partial Year Attendance and Tuition Refund Policy:
    Students who are accepted to SMPS after the school year has begun are required to pay the registration fee. Once a student begins attendance in a month, tuition for that month must be paid in full. If a student withdraws from school, tuition credits will be processed for any month that the student has not attended. Financial awards will be pro-rated based on the same schedule. All outstanding
    obligations to the school must be satisfied prior to the start of the new school year.

    Every family must enroll in the FACTS program for the 2019/20 academic year as mandated by the Diocese of Fall River Catholic Education Center.

  • Extended Care Program

    The Before Care Program runs from 6:30-7:45 a.m. for PreK-Grade 4. The After Care program runs from 1:00-5:30p.m. for PreK and 2:30-5:30 p.m. for Grade K-Grade 4 on full school days.
    There is no After Care program on half days. The Extended Care rate for the 2019/2020 school year is $7.50 an hour for the first child and $3.75 for each additional sibling. Students dropped off before 7:45 a.m. will be considered in attendance at Before Care.

  • Payments

    The following options are available to all families:

    Option 1: Full payment made by July 1, 2019 through FACTS Tuition Management Program.  There is no FACTS administration fee if you make one payment.
    Option 2: 10, 11 or 12 monthly payments made through the FACTS Tuition Management Program beginning June, 2019.

    FACTS charges an administration fee of $45 each year per family.

    Please note that if you cannot start making tuition payments in June, you will no longer be able to select the 12 month option.

    Tuition payments need to be paid in full by May of that school year.

  • Multiple Student Discount

    Multiple Student Discount
    There is a multiple student discount for families with more than one child currently enrolled at St. Margaret Primary School, St. Francis Xavier Preparatory School, and St. John Paul II High School. The discount will be applied as follows:

    First Child 100% Tuition
    Subsequent Children 95% Tuition

  • Financial Assistance through FACE

    SMPS families seeking to be considered for financial assistance through the Foundation to Advance Catholic Education (FACE) must complete an annual application with FACTS Grant & Aid
    Assessment.  The applications are now open online at  The deadline for submitting 2018 & 2019 tax documents is February 15th .  Please contact Margaret Keras at for more information.

  • Parish Assistance

    Parishes in the Diocese of Fall River give a parish subsidy to registered, active and practicing Catholics.
    It is the family’s responsibility to bring the Parish Subsidy Request form to their pastor for
    authorization and have it returned to school by June 1 st. This form must be submitted yearly to be
    considered for assistance. Subsidies will be deducted from the tuition balance upon receipt of the

  • St. Margaret Fund Assistance

    We believe Catholic education should be available to all families. St. Margaret Primary School has a
    small endowment for tuition assistance. Families who have applied to F.A.C.E. are eligible for this
    additional aid. There is no additional application for this assistance.
